The concerto for cello, string orchestra and vibraphone was written in 1994 for cellist Michael Haran and dedicated to him, as a token of our productive friendship.  The concerto is in one movement and through-composed.  It stems from a lyrical-dramatic stream of consciousness and is a kind of confession.  As for the style, I have never belonged to any specific stylistic trend.  One can say that the musical material I choose established the stylistic direction in each and every work.

Sonata is a cycle of three parts, and the main part is just II-nd (Action) which is the dramatic focus of the sonata and its highest culmination.  Recitative of I-st Vision, eternal and unsolved conflict between two opposite world outlooks of II-nd Vision, dreamy catharsis of III-rd Vision consists of the whole image picture of this sonata which I wrote spontaneously.  Sonata is stylistically very simple and the main task for the performers is to play it very romantically, individually and in accordance with the author's conception.
